Visiting the Library during the pandemic
The Library opened with Grab-n-Go appointments June 22, 2020. During that time library patrons were not allowed inside the building. Characters representing all the Children participating in the Imagine Your Story Summer Reading program were put on the Children's Room windows. Story Walks posted in the back of the library became a popular activity summer reading activity in which families could participate but stay socially distanced.
The Library building opened to the public with restrictions on July 20, 2020. Summer Reading Club prize winners were able to physically come into the library to pick up their prizes. Masks required, of course.
