Description
The first library building was originally used as the post office and was located across the train tracks from the Tenafly Train Station (pictured on the far right of this image). It is the single-story red-roofed building near the center of this image. The building was purchased by the Library Association and moved to land also purchased by the Library Association on Washington Street in March 1912.
