New Head Librarian At Tenafly

Mrs. William J. Garomon of 43 Smith Terrace, Cresskill, has been appointed head librarian of the
Tenafly Free Public Library, effective January 1, 1950. Mrs. Garomon is a graduate of Hunter College and of the Columbia University School of Library Service. She has been employed in the
New York Public Library in various capacities during recent years, having extensive experience in
both the children's and adults' departments in various sections of New York City. Miss Margaret Doyle and other members will continue on the staff.
