Tenafly's Former Library Razed As Board Gets Title
TENAFLY — A recent action by the Tenafly Public Library Board, with the approval of the mayor and council of the Borough of Tenafly, the old library property was deeded to the Tenafly Board of Education.

The formal acceptance of the transfer of the former library property on Washington avenue was negotiated on Oct. 28, 1963 at the public meeting of the Board of Education.

Since the transfer was made, the old frame building on the northwest section of the junior high school site has been' razed, the debris has been hauled away, and the area has been cleared and leveled.
